I actually hire people from indeed. I will occasionally text to set up an interview. But my primary focus is actually calling them. I find going to the indeed site to contact via message or email a pain. It's much swifter/ easier to get in direct contact. But as an employer; if that is the exact text they sent you. It is very poorly written. (No offense to you, if you are the writer lol) for. Indeed can't rely on new jobs to bring users to their platform since they'd be dead overnight with so few new jobs on it. I'm not sure if they were doing it last year or not since the response rate was wild. When Indeed detects that a new applicant doesn’t meet your deal breaker criteria, their submitted application is automatically filed under the Rejected tab in your dashboard. We will not send them a rejection email on your behalf unless you opt into Indeed Employer Assist. Instead, they’ll just be filtered out for you. I’ve seen so many people say you never get jobs from indeed. I’m trying to find a job as I’m a student and literally cannot afford to live, but every job has 400+ applicants and my application is never even viewed. My question is do people actually get jobs from indeed? If no, where do you actually find these jobs? I’m in the UK, my uni jobs support thing is useless, I just don’t see. I’ve seen so many complaints about it. I made an Indeed account over a year ago, but have hardly used it since then as I will instead use LinkedIn or just go directly to company websites to find jobs. I hear about certain convenient features about Indeed, like being able to essentially “mass apply” to a number among roles at a time. I know indeed is a legitimate website, but does anyone actually get jobs from applying and sending a resume through indeed? I have literally applied to 900 positions in my field in the past three months, I'm extremely qualified for all of them with 23 years experience, and I haven't heard a fucking peep from any of them, I've called probably a third of them directly to follow up, and they. A lot of times, employers are not aware that by closing out their listing on the Indeed platform without taking any further actions through the platform that every applicant gets the Not selected by employer message. Note that in addition to being able to see resumes/cover letter/applicant info through the Indeed platform that the same info is emailed to the employer as well. So if the. Indeed is just a glorified parasite of a website and most of the jobs you find on there are false doors. Indeed works by scraping hundreds or thousands of other websites for real job postings, and recreates the information as a new job in its own format. An overwhelming majority of jobs posted here are clones. Applying to these cloned jobs does absolutely nothing. Nobody receives your. Indeed really needs to create tighter controls on job postings. I could post a scam on there today if I wanted. Reply reply [deleted] I’ve seen this on LinkedIn too. Applied for a job, and they called me back the same day to offer me a job without even an interview. All on a Sunday nonetheless. Was extremely sketchy. So I've been looking for a way to find the date job listings on Indeed.com were posted. These are purposely hidden for jobs 30+ days old to make jobs seem more recent/active than they are. I found a helpful comment by u/rambobaby5000 about using the View Source Page function to find how many days ago a job was posted. Basically, right clicking the job posting, clicking View Source, then.
