The same thing has been happening to me since roughly the second week of May 2023. I even have Tap or Swipe to Wake disabled -- and yet, it has been happening increasingly often that I take the phone out of my pocket and see that it's locked due to an invalid PIN being entered. Anyone with a working @me.com or @mac.com now is using that as nothing more than an alias to the @icloud.com account they must have created prior to the MobileMe shutdown in 2012. The only email addresses. how do i access my me.com email how do i access my me.com email account Posted on Mar 6, 2023 10:57 AM 􁾨 Helpful (119) iCloud (and @me.com) mail is standard IMAP and you can access it in your mail application using the settings here: Mail server settings for iCloud email clients - Apple Support The switch to me.com was relatively seamless and transparent (and one less key press -- yay!). In fact, I could still send and receive mac.com mail through me.com, up to a few days ago. @me is an alias for @iCloud. Use your @me username to set up iCloud.
