Lamictal birth

I started on Lamotrigine (Lamictal) just over a year ago. Prior to starting the tablets my blood pressure was really good, however within a few months of starting my meds my blood pressure went through the roof. I was searching for information about lamictal and memory loss and came across this site and forum. Forgive me for registering and commenting as I do not suffer from Epilepsy or seizures. The best I can come to the table with is cluster headaches and migraine disorder with mild bi-polar depression. Which I have in the past taken Topamax for. I just got up to what dosage my dr recommended (400mg) of Lamictal but for about a week I have been having horrid night sweats where I wake up drenched. I'm trying to find out if this is a medication issue or a hormonal one. Anyone else have problems with night sweats while on Lamictal? I am on Keppra (2500 a day) and Lamictal (500 a day). My neurologist and I recently upped the Lamictal dosage and, as a result, my hands have become really shaky. Both my left and right hands constantly shake; whether I eat, (or don't) sleep, (or don't) etc. Basically my hands always shake no matter what I'm doing or not doing. I work as a glazier and sometimes my shaky hand makes me mess up. Blood tests are often checked before treatment with an antiepileptic drug (AED) begins. These results can then be compared with blood tests that are done after you have been taking the AED for some time, to see if there have been any changes. I'm on 150mg Lamictal in the morning, and 100mg at night. And we're starting off the dose of Keppra slowly, obviously. So.my question is to anyone taking both - how do you find it? What about side effects? Lamictal, for me, contrarily, has increased my appetite, and I'm deathly scared of Keppra adding to this. Any input would be fab. Thanks guys! It had seemed to work. I only had seizures when I had missed doses but otherwise was seizure free. This January, my neurologist and pharmacologist were concerned that I was still having seizures so they want to switch me from Keppra to Lamictal. Because of the possible side effects from Lamictal (rash, etc.), I am going onto the Lamictal gradually. I.
