Is voltaren a muscle relaxer

Voltaren gel has worked for my knees, but I have the stuff running out of my ears! Every month and 1/2 my prescription pharmacy would send 15 more tubes of Voltaren so now I have it in boxes on my shelves. If I take 2 Tylenol and use Voltaren I'm good for the day, but I don't know if I should do that for the rest of my life; I'm 69. I've had it X-rayed and they said mild degenerative arthritis - no knee replacement needed. Just an update. My doctor and posters (Thanks Jen) were helpful with the decision to stop using Voltaren so I have been just using Aleve probably 440 mg per day.
