Glimepiride self nanoemulsifying drug delivery system

Good Morning, To give some background here, I came down with some kind of sickness (flu/cold/respiratory) and a doc that is not my PCP put me on a Z-Pack and a Pred-Pack. This happened after two weeks of being very sick and refusing medication for that. My BS's were already climbing up and were. Has anyone been on glimepiride? I just started a few days ago, had to cut dosage in half. I was at 70 at 10:00 pm and concerned about the night so I ate a little. I am type 2. Sent from my SM-G930V using Diabetes Daily mobile app Hi all Started on glimepiride around 3-4 months ago as I was getting bad diarrhoea from slow release metformin. They have now upped the glimepiride from 1mg to 2mg. I seem to be getting headaches every day and I don't know whether this is a side effect of glimepiride or not. I think my control. Glimepiride Reduction Does anyone have any experience with reducing their Glimepiride dosage? I was started on 4 mg which is the max when I was dx'd 11 weeks ago. Now that my last A1c was 6.3 my new doctor has me reducing the dosage to 2 mg. If you have any experience with reducing your Glimepiride did you see any. I have been taking these type-2 diabetes medications for four months now. 4 Months: Xenglu Tablets 25Mg (Empagliflozin) 3 Months: Piozer-G Tablets 15Mg/2Mg (Glimepiride , Pioglitazone) 2 Months: Ozempic 1 Month: Evopride Tablets 2Mg (Glimepiride) Rolip Tablets 5Mg (Rosuvastatin). I lost about 10 Lbs in the last 3 weeks but found out that taking med after breakfast and eating a light lunch (apple) I get that weak feeling in afternoon! I thought it better perhaps to take GLIMEPIRIDE 2 MG after dinner? Any helpful comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Some background first. I was informed about a month ago that I'm diabetic when my A1c was measured 10.1 and my bg was I think 240. My doctor put me on 1000mg Metformin and 4mg of Glimepiride. He was concerned with my kidney proteins so I know that's why he went with the Glimepiride. He also. Hi: I am a senior female and have been taking Glimepiride for several years. Doc first told me to take 2 mg once a day. But, I had trouble breathing. So he decreased the amount to 1mg a day. Now my sugar has gone up and I think I may need to take the 2 mg a day. Because of the trouble I had. I finally started glimepiride today (my doctor originally wanted me to start it 6 months ago but I was scared to because I'm on other blood sugar lowering medicines). But, anyway, she wanted me to start at 4mg twice a day, but because of my fear i started with 2mg in the morning today. Well. Glipizide or Glimepiride work by pushing the pancreas to produce/increase more insulin. Some believe that this may be overworking the pancreas and might not be a good long-term drug, so you should discuss this with your doc and do some research.
