Cheratussin ac

Actually Cheratussin AC Syrup contains 10mg of codeine phosphate & 100mg of guaifenesin available in 16 fl. oz. bottles. You shouldn't exceed 2400mg of 'Guaifenesin' within a 24 hour period or you run the risk of becoming really sick like vomiting, etc. Could anyone point me in the direction of a pharmacy that they've been able to buy Cheratussin AC from without a prescription? It would have to be near NY, in any of the surrounding states. But I'm wondering if there's a way to extract the codeine from cheratussin syrup while discarding the guaifenesin.
